The Mission Bay Montessori Playgroup is a lighthearted Parent-Child class aimed at demonstrating simple ways that parents can provide their children opportunities to gain independence and foster a collaborative spirit. This group is ideal for walking children ages 1 year to 4.5 years old. Each playgroup is limited to 10 attendees to preserve the quality of social and educational opportunities of the children. A donation of $5 or more is requested to help cover the cost of the room rental and refreshments.
A wonderful opportunity for you and your preschool child to discover the ways in which the Montessori method instills confidence, independence, and a love of learning through a play-based tactile curriculum. There will be lots of fun activities for you and your child to choose from as well as a trained Montessori guide to answer any questions concerning the method, activities, and early childhood development.Â
